Waterfront lots are an especially nice site for a negative edge pool. From the house the view looks like the water of the pool and the water of the lake come together and can look seamless at the right perspective. This landscape design is not short on interest, the outside facing of the pool is a 4' high sheet of waterfall which can be very dramatic. Together this creates a four foot sheet of water at the rear edge while creating the illusion an endless seam between the pool and the water body beyond. Opposite the pool is a raised terrace which is retained by a wall and covered in turf. Joining the to sides of the garden are an elegant series of brick steps leading to the landing near the water's edge and the boat dock beyond.
