One of the objectives in this patio scheme is to mimic the curves of an adjacent pond (top), while complimenting the architecture of the home . The breakfast bay window looks upon a 3' diameter sugar kettle, converted to a fountain, surrounded by beds then a patio (right). The main patio area allows for generous space for possible table and chairs under a deciduous grouping of patio scale trees (left). Bordered by a raised planter to the left, the patio layout ushers visitors toward the water and separates the masterbedroom garden area from the more public patio area. Notice the link to another patio space adjacent to the pond. |
